Denominazione di Origine Controllata

Rosso di Montefalco is a soft, easy to drink wine with great character and considerable development potential. This wine is the combination of the noble grape varieties of Sangiovese and Sagrantino, together with two important international grapes Merlot and Cabernet. The vineyards are located in spurred cordon in the hills, located at an altitude between 200 and 400 meters, with the number of plants per hectare varying between 3300 and 5000, yielding about 80 quintals per hectare. The grapes are exclusively hand-picked and brought to the cellar within two hours after harvesting, thus preserving the integrity of the fruit.
